Blender 3.4.1 and Lightmapper finishes bake under a second and no lightmaps are generated

Hey,

Thanks for taking the time out and writing this extremely useful plugin. But there seems to be a problem, I have created a very simple scene with Cube, plane and a light image

When I press bake, nothing happens image

Hi and thank you for using the addon

There's two things you need for it to work:

  • Enable it for the object under the object properties
  • The file needs to be saved before the baking can start

With that being said, I havent tested it with the latest version of Blender, so there could be some breaking changes, I'll have to check

@x1911

Hi, have you enabled lightmapping for the objecs you want to bake?:

If you want to bake for the whole scene, you can enable lightmapping for all objects by going to Utilities and click "Enable for set" - By default it will apply this to all the objects in the scene:

Please let me know, if this doesn't work

Hi, Is there a window or a widget where we can multiple select items for bake and their resolution? Hopefully, if you have the time or some leads on how others can contribute, a resolution previewer. So it can be extremely easy to bake light maps

Thank you, it works,

there is a other issue, a error message shows when click "clean lightmaps" image

@KarthikHebbarMN

Hi, as for selecting multiple objects for baking and resolution there's such located under the Utilities section:

If you're in the "Set Batching" context, you can toggle the "Set" to be "Selection" and then it will apply the resolution to all the objects you've selected, along with the resolution settings. As for the resolution previewer, do you mean an example of how the quality is going to be on a single object or something similar?

@x1911 Hi, are you on Linux or Mac? - I will have to check on my Linux machine when I get home after easter. In the meantime I've added this to my todo list: https://github.com/Naxela/The_Lightmapper/issues/168
