Can we add a pause button or update on demand?

Is this a similar or duplicate feature request? No.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Adding some helping features is a must, for example if you are trying to compile scss files the plugin triggers automatically updating all files, this is fine however most of the time it hangs and nothing ends the process or restarts it except waiting untill it times out and there is no way to proceed with the remaining.

The best is to be able to pause the plugin and once done, we can generate the css and update what have changed manually, is this possible to add a cmd to pause it or disable it temporarly?
