Adding a one-directional relation between classes in classifications
At which URL did you encounter the problem?
http://urn.fi/URN:NBN:fi:au:ykl:17.1
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- concept view shows RELATED CLASSES
- when you go to a related class, there is a corresponding ink back to the referring class
- the skos:related -property is bi-directional
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In some occations we do not need/want the backlink. We would need a new separate property to create a one-directional link which would not create a backlink automatically. rdfs:Label for this property could be: "VIITTAUKSET MUIHIN LUOKKIIN"@fi (added also as a mouse-over text) "REFERENS TILL ANDRA KLASSER"@sv "REFERENCES TO OTHER CLASSES"@en
What browser did you use? (eg. Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Internet explorer)
Chrome Source: YKL task list 29.9.2021
If such a relationship is coined in the vocabulary, and it has a proper label, then Skosmos should already be able to display it.
I propose closing this issue and tracking this somewhere else, because no changes to Skosmos code are needed.
Comment from the users - the use case in YKL is considered to be uninformative and confusing when the associative class relations are two-way, like the situation is at the moment.
Decided to go forward with dct:references for modeling the one-way relationship between the classes.
