Could be used by modules for many reasons:

  • New PM on the site
  • New forum reply on the site
  • New resource update
  • Etc

We should bear in mind that Discord seems to limit requests of this type to 50 requests per minute, and that we should require some sort of auth key to be sent in the requests so bad actors cannot fake requests.
