Floating search bar is covered by search suggestions drop-down

I can't see what I'm typing or the URL that's already there. This happens when the nav bar is hidden and when it's not.

Thanks @JoyHak Changing those values in the floating-search css file and then restoring them to the defaults seems to have fixed it. I wonder if this is a bug on the Firefox side with how it handles profiles. These seems to be resolved, though I still can't tell you what caused this.

Я возможно понял, в чём проблема. Адресная строка в Firefox довольно чувствительная, и часть её свойств запекается при старте. Если у вас не включено сохранение вкладок между сессиями, то Firefox стартует на новой вкладке, где адресная строка уже сфокусирована. Свойства запекаются при сфокусированном состоянии и получается каша. Не уверен, что это объяснение правильное, возможно суть проблемы вообще в другом. Но я с этим уже сталкивался, так что смею предположить

I may have realized what the problem is. The address bar in Firefox is quite sensitive, and some of its properties are baked in at startup. If you don't have tab saving enabled between sessions, Firefox starts on a new tab where the address bar is already focused. Properties are baked in when focused and you get a mess. I'm not sure if this explanation is correct, maybe the core of the problem is something else altogether. But I've encountered this before, so I'll take a wild guess

It will also be useful to disable shortcuts and recent searches suggestions. This can cause problems when Firefox starts in a new tab

I have the same issue on windows but randomly: Sometimes it work, sometimes its covered

Reporting the same issue on both windows and MacOS. The issue for me occurs when turning off floating toolbar, the suggestions/history/etc still overlap the actual toolbar making it impossible to select/copy the actual address, etc.
