Non-Standard Link Handling Question

Is there a reason why PocketTube uses a non-standard way of handling links in the Deck? Using CTRL+Click opens the video in a new foreground tab. CTRL+Click will generally open a new tab in the background and CTRL+SHIFT+Click would open a new tab in the foreground.

I don't know, I see it's a standard behavior on MacOS, Video Deck is working as ordinary YouTube there for me

Ok I see, in Windows that isn't the default. Don't know anything about MacOS myself.
