Searching for a Rhyme

Open ghost opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

My intent was to create a "book" where each page contains musings of author seeking to find good rhymes for a given word. Example entry may look as follows:

I was looking for words that rhyme with blast. I thought about aghast! I thought about amassed! I thought about asked! [...] Then, I ran out of ideas, so I called it a day.

Here is my code and here is the entire work of art (allegedly 115 088 words)

It is not very complex, but I think I will consider this as my first complete submission. Seeing how easy finding rhyming words is, I wonder if the idea could be somehow pushed further - maybe one could create a book full of terrible generated limericks?

I'd love to see this! I've found that it's straightforward to match the rhyme and syllable scheme but making a limerick that makes sense grammatically is a lot harder.
