Highstock 1.1.5 v. 1.2.4

Checkbook comes packaged with two versions of Highstock: 1.1.5 and 1.2.4. Which one should be used?

Several files point instead to a nonexistent directory source/webapp/sites/all/modules/custom/widget_framework/widget_highcharts/highstock/1.1.4. Should those references be replaced with 1.1.5 or 1.2.4?

Meanwhile, the INSTALL.md file indicates that users should download Highstock separately -- is that method preferred over packaging it with Checkbook?
