Creating PostgreSQL databases and running ETL (Kettle) Jobs to load data.

Hello! I am following the documentation for running Kettle jobs, I have some questions Do I need SOLR installed to load the data? When I downloaded the Checkbook source code, I am also missing the Checkbook_ogent file. When I downloaded the code it may have been the old version, so how can I get the updated files. I am using a virtual machine with Centos.

One last question, After my initial install of checkbook, what would recommend I do next, the install documentation does not provide any instructions as to what I should proceed with next. I started with loading data but is there a recommended way to proceed?
