ORDER BY DATE descending in the API and question about ISSUE DATE oddities

Open fedex1 opened this issue 7 years ago • 0 comments

Is there a way to order by issue date descending in the API?

I do not see a way to sort at all in the API. For example, if we want all transactions ordered by date descending, how would we do that via the API?

And a question about issue date, if you go to http://www.checkbooknyc.com/spending/search/transactions/chkdate/2017-11-10 and sort by "issue date" descending you will see issue dates as far into the future as 2107-01-03 which is 90 years in the future. Are these just mistakes? Or is this actual data?

If it's a mistake, then is it incorrect on the actual check? In other words, is checkbooknyc actually tied directly to the check writing process or is some human re-typing in this checkbooknyc data?

And if some human is re-typing in the checkbooknyc data then how accurate is it?
