Cant open the game
Please help, this error appears when i am trying to open the game
Same problem. After this error did not appear, but the game does not start, and weighs the process hl2.exe
Update: i have 2 graphhic cards. I switched one off and the game actually run! But i've got like 3-4 fps on the min. graphics
The dialog box can be due to many reasons, it's not necessarily due to the same issue. We ask every user hitting this to post a new github issue for their failed case, selecting Runtime Bug Report and filling out the fields, especially attaching logs (from rtx-remix\logs\*) and any *.dmp dump.

What is meant by 'clean install of the driver with latest public driver' ? I would presume: using the nvidia app to first uninstall the currently installed driver, then, installing the latest (again using nvidia app?)

@SkillipEvolver, NVApp is correct, but there's actually a pretty simple reinstall process. You can find that on the "Drivers" screen, scroll down to where it lists your current driver, click the three dots to the right, and choose "Reinstall".

Hi, sorry that I didn;t get back to you. I understand that me starting a new ticket, with no subsequent input isn't very useful! truth is, I haven't had much time for that, apologies.
What I can say (which did sort the problem for me personally), is I ran Steam, nav to HL2RTX Demo, simply verified the installed files (using Steam's menus), it chcked a bunch of stuff, and then after that, it worked no issues.
