Unity3D - Camera Rendering Upside Down
Describe the bug
- With certain Unity titles, the final image will render upside-down. This occurs only to certain titles on the engine.
- Tested with Xuan-Yuan Sword 6: The Gate of Firmament
- DXVK-Remix abdd865
- Bridge-Remix 9833d09
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080
- Driver: Nvidia Studio Driver 536.67
- Steam - Latest Release
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open Xuan-Yuan Sword 6: The Gate of Firmament on Steam
- Make sure the game is set to Fullscreen in settings, then close the game
- If Remix is enabled, only use fullscreen mode; see #178
- Set up DXVK-Remix and Bridge-Remix accordingly (a basic rtx.conf with UI tags is included)
- All in-engine gameplay will render upside-down while the HUD remains the correct direction.
Other known affected titles:
- Dreadout
- Gang Beasts Alpha 0.0.3
Unity titles NOT affected:
- Ravenfield (Alpha builds)
- Slender
- Deus Ex: The Fall
- Shadowrun Returns
Expected behavior Unity normally compensates for this behavior in its own renderer, and behavior is inconsistent-- in some Unity games, the camera remains facing the correct direction. We may need a manual toggle to flip the final image, rasterized elements included (if the HUD is flipped) or to handle a Y mirror in post-processing on the camera (if the HUD is normal).
