Lightmap Textures tag giving diffuse textures fullbright qualities - Pathologic Classic HD
Describe the bug
- When tagging objects as lightmaps, the texture beneath the lightmap gains a fullbright quality.
- Bridge: bf0984b; DXVK: b7a4960 (0a9d916 + Lightmaps in UI, use either)
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080
- Driver: 531.41 Studio Drivers
- Game Build: GOG
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open the game using the instructions here: https://discord.com/channels/1028444667789967381/1120813325756928111/1120813325756928111
- Begin a new game and observe the theater. The lighting will be completely uniform and flat without shadows.
- Go to the door at the end of the walkway and select the Bachelor. The home at the opening will demonstrate this issue as well. Despite the look, everything in the scene displays a geometry hash and without frustrum culling, the fully enclosed room should block all light.
- In the Remix developer menu, toggle Emissive Blend Override and Enable Alpha Blending; the surfaces immediately darken, and shadows will once again be seen in the environment. The scene will darken as the only light in the scene comes from the fallback light.
Expected behavior
- The theater scene at the game's opening should have no dynamic lights.
- Sobor, the Bachelor's home, the entrance to the Haruspex's hideout, and hidden_room have been tagged for lightmaps as well.
