H100 is not supported by nvidia driver?
1. Quick Debug Information
- OS/Version: Ubuntu22.04
- Kernel Version: 5.15.0-102-generic
- Container Runtime Type/Version: kubevirt + containerd
- K8s Flavor/Version: k8s
- GPU Operator Version: v24.3.0
2. Issue or feature description
I ran a virtual machine via kubevirt and passed through a H100 for it.
But dmesg in vm says gpu is not supported by driver.
While https://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/550.90.07/README/supportedchips.html supports H100.
How can I fix this?
@ch3nku1 since this is a driver installation issue, can you follow the steps here to file a ticket in the NVIDIA developer forum? https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/if-you-have-a-problem-please-read-this-first/27131

Given that gpu-operator v24.3.0 is EOL now, I would encourage you to try latest version and see if you still see this issue.
If this issue is still relevant with the latest version of the NVIDIA GPU Operator, please feel free to reopen it or open a new one with updated details.
