Installation Problem: RuntimeError: Error compiling objects for extension
Describe the Bug
I follow the README to install apex using pip install -v --disable-pip-version-check --no-cache-dir --no-build-isolation --config-settings "--build-option=--cpp_ext" --config-settings "--build-option=--cuda_ext" ./
, but it fails.
the error message is :
RuntimeError: Error compiling objects for extension
error: subprocess-exited-with-error
× Building wheel for apex (pyproject.toml) did not run successfully.
│ exit code: 1
╰─> See above for output.
note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.
