Hi, I would like to flash the NSPanelManager FW to my NSPanel-EU (with 2 hardware buttons). But, I have a problem with the serial uart connection to the ESP32. Now, I thought to flash it OTA with the tasmota (currenctly installed) OTA updater. But, if it should work, the storage is not enough, to buffer the 3,9Mb of merged-flash.bin. Would it be possible, to decrease the merged-flash.bin file to a minimal size, which offers the OTA flash into a 2Mb buffer storage and then update to the latest one? Thank you, Marc
Unfortunetly the file system partitions aren't like for like and you need to flash via UART/serial.
Ok, thank you. I managed to flash it via UART now. I had a problem in Tx terminal connection to the pin of the ESP, but found a contact after the resistor R2 for flashing purposes :-) Now, I'm also in the NSPanelManager community with my NSPanel-EU.
I like it very much, based on my first impression. I configured it, according for a daily use. As far as I understood, currently as "Entity" I can only add lights or switches/buttons. But usual status/information items (temperature, humidity or text based value) I cannot display, right?
Nicely done and a warm welcome. For now you cannot display stats on the panel.
