Manual tab when adding a new light

Can anyone explain me what the function is of the "manual" tab when adding a light? The other options are HA and openhab..

There are no fields that can be filled in in my setup, but an option to send an udp command to a remote device would be very helpful for me, as I want to integrate the nspanel with my Loxone automation system.

The manual tab is ment for lights added manually through mqtt. That functionality is however not implemented yet so to answer your question, the manual tab does nothing.
