(Configuration of) logging to file

Some of these might be solved when moving to daemonbase (#81).

  • [] Setting log_file without changing log_target can be confusing. Maybe we should not allow the combination of a non-file-target with a non-empty log_file and error out on start-up?
  • [] Writing to /var/log/ does not work out of the box on CentOS. Could be the systemd-unit file, or perhaps SELinux?
