Better explanation and purpose for CI variables

  • Credentials, e.g. k8s secrets or database password.
  • Permission model with e.g. maintainer access to project variables, but not the developer
  • Different Build Types for manual CI runs

Should be mentioned in the training, maybe just as hints for the trainer so they explain what is up.
