Method 1 to access data no longer works (fsspec) Method 2 is hanging also (intake-esm)

@andersy005 if you have time, could you take a peak at these issues above - probably in the dev branch is best

After the above is fixed, there may be a problem with collect_datasets when we get past the above as I don't know if this data contains field gw or not (also I need to add the data_type "cam-fv" as the first argument to the function call)
