Documentation on how to run ADF on a new machine

New feature type

Other (please explain below)

What is this new feature?

I recently receive a question of an user who wants to run the ADF on their own machine. They are requesting info about the npl env.

I read the tutorial "ADF tutorial: Running a CAM vs CAM comparison on Casper". I want to do the same thing on our machine "Leto". In the steps 2 and 3 of the tutorial, it is talking about : module conda/latest. Do you mean installing anaconda or miniconda? conda activate npl. Which libraries are in this npl env? It will be helpful for me if I could get some documentations on how to run ADF on a new machine.

Assistance required?

Yes, I am requesting a new feature but won't have time to develop it

Adding a note here that these instructions will also need to include instructions for how to install NCO if not present on a person's machine already, which can be done using conda with the following command:

conda install -c conda-forge nco

The documentation should also specify that this will need to be done while the ADF conda environment is active.

For Mac users, NCO can also be installed with brew. Just to add some complication to this issue. For simplicity, I think we should recommend using conda, but maybe note there are other methods available.
