Moving a renderable moveable object

I'm only posting here because I can't seem to post to the Worldwind forums as I get an error every time I attempt to post.

I was hoping to get some help or guidance on how to move and render a Moveable and Renderable object (let's say a Polygon instance) given a time history of positions. Are these suggestions still the recommended advice for animating an object? Any references to examples or even pointers to what classes to look at would be great!
