Toggle off activity spans

Related problems

Sometimes you want to hide activity spans instead of the directives. The names of the directives can be edited, so they can provide useful information that the activities do not. If you don't care about the spans, they can introduce a lot of clutter.

If a simulation dataset could be deselected, then the activity spans would disappear, but so would the plots, so this doesn't quite satisfy the need.

Describe the feature request

Add a button beside the directive toggle to toggle activity spans.

Better would be to also(?) include this (and the directive toggle) as part of the timeline editor.

@lklyne something to consider when redesigning timeline layer editing functionality

@bradNASA while we don't have a global timeline button for this, in the latest Aerie version you are able to right-click on an Activities row in the timeline and select "Show Activities", "Show Activity Directives" or "Both". Does this satisfy the need or do you think we also need a button for this at the top? If no button is necessary, this can be closed.

Existing context menu implementation is sufficient for closing
