End of service notice

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that amiiboapi.com will be shutting down at the end of the month, on 31 December 2025. This wasn’t an easy decision, and it’s something I’ve been thinking about for the past few weeks.

I started this project back when I was in university as a personal way to learn and grow as a software engineer. Along the way, I’ve met so many wonderful people, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who has contributed to the repository, shared feedback, or helped improve the database over the years.

I’ve decided it’s time for me to move on from maintaining and keeping the project alive. The repository will be archived at the end of the month, and the APIs will stop working in the new year. Since it’s open source, you’re welcome to host your own version. Who knows, maybe someone will pick it up in the future and take it even further.
