[bug]: system crash on SteamSetup.exe launch

Describe the bug

I tried to install Steam following the guide (see below). When launching the Steam installer the entire system crashed and rebooted.

Sorry, I couldn't find any crash logs and stackdumps related to this. macOS didn't even show the usual system crash dialogue after the restart. 🤷‍♂️

I haven't dared to try again since this is my daily driver. I know this isn't helpful in reproducing, let alone fixing the issue but it might serve as a statistical datapoint should this happen to others.

FWIW, I've been running Steam without issues on the same system using Whiskey and Kegworks/Sikarugir.

How to reproduce

1. Follow the guide
2. Full system crash occurred when "press the play button on the cover for the installer."

Mac & App Information

Mac mini M4 Pro, macOS 15.7.1, latest SteamSetup.exe

Can't reproduce — I don't even have a clue how Mythic can cause a full system crash. Without any form of logs or crashdumps, I can't really help either
