Decrease response time

It takes 1.5 sec to respond to a simple command like this ./mimic1/mimic -t "hello. there" -voice /home/pi/mimic1/voices/cmu_us_awb.flitevox How to improve response time?

Hi,

Generally make sure you're running v 1.3 or newer.

Try using the built in voice ./mimic1/mimic -t "hello. there" -voice awb if that is still slow try rebuilding without builtin voices and use the flitevox file and see if that is an improvement.

I tired this ./mimic1/mimic -t "hello. there" -voice awb and still response time is same. I will try rebuilding. Thanks.
