Picroft either does not use pulseaudio, or pacmd should be included in the image + USB Logitech Headset H340
While trying to make USB Logitech Headset H340 work for picroft, I found some bits of the documentation to be either obsolete or not clear enough. The one I can remember now is:
- https://mycroft.ai/documentation/picroft/#audio-issues "By default, Picroft uses the PulseAudio subsystem (...) pacmd list-sources" Either picroft does not use pulseaudio, or pacmd was not installed in the image I was using.
Also (offtopic probably) I'd like to know if it'd be possible to make the Logitech Headset H340 a supported device. I think I just changed alsa.conf to have it working, but I'll test deeper soon
Hi there @angelalonso, thank you so much for your feedback.
We're currently rewriting all of the picroft
documentation at the moment.
You can see the draft at: #105
Do you think the rewrite addresses these issues?
Best, Kathy
