Ledger Nano S "Error: Code 5"

I am trying to connect my Ledger Nano S to MEW but I keep getting "Error:Code 5" message after a brief pause. I have enabled Contract Data and the new update should automatically enable Browser Support as it is no longer in the Settings. I tried different ports and different cables but nothing. I also tried to reinstall the Ethereum App and even restarted my computer. Note that it also does not work on Kyber Network, so perhaps it is the Nano itself?

you'd better check your app version. the latest version of the Ethereum App is 1.1.7
