ledger custom derivation path bug

with default path m/44'/60'/0' assume the second address is X.

i then enter custom path m/44'/60'/0'/0/1

the first path displayed is not X - the whole series is different.

first i thought this was a bug but now i think it is a missing feature - let's say I want to skip to address 100 I don't think is possible.

i think it is using m/44'/60'/0'/0/1 as the base then appending /0/0 again hence the problem?

Hi Yes you are right if you set custom path, it always assume that's the base path and append to that.

I agree it can be better and there should be a way to skip to a certain address
