Tutorial should target Windows 10

I'm just starting out with Xamarin/VS2015 App development and am being enormously frustrated by the fact that all tutorials are outdated. Upgrading the projects (e.g. TipCalc) didn't work, error below:

[...]\MvvmCross-Tutorials\TipCalc\.nuget\NuGet.targets(83,9): error : Unable to locate '[...]\MvvmCross-Tutorials\TipCalc\.nuget\NuGet.exe'

I only succeeded in following the TipCalc tutorial for Xamarin.Android, but the Windows portion just doesn't work anymore. This is really disappointing :(
