Enhancement: Custom Light source

It would be great to be able to create a custom light template. I would like to create a cone light source. for say a flashlight, or bullseye lantern. For example - under the Item creation menu, there is the option for "basic" if you click the check box for "light" then you get a tab called "light" then a drop down for the "Light Template". May be I am just ignorant but I do not see a way to create a new template.
