Inconsistent display of payment details on "Just Me" vs "Friends" view
When I zap on Nostr (in this case, using Nostur, which is linked to Mutiny via NWC), in my "Just Me" feed I see "You sent Unknown 21 sats" a Nostur tag, and a blank profile icon.
On the "Friends" view, I see "Chris zapped Damus 21 sats" with my Nostr profile picture and Damus profile picture visible.
What would the reason be that this payment information is not known on the "Just Me: view, but it is known on the "Friends" view?
I am signed into Nostr, and see my Nostr profile picture on the top left, and my Nostr contacts have imported correctly.
It would be nice to look down the "Just Me" view and see which Nostr contacts my payments went to instead of just seeing a bunch of "Unknowns".
I tried unlinking my Nostr profile and re-importing it, but that didn't seem to do the trick. Is this a bug, or just me not understanding the expected behavior? Thanks!
This is expected because when mutiny is paying an invoice over NWC, it doesn't get any context for what the payment is for. Whereas in the friends feed it is pulling in zap events from nostr.
In theory we could pull in zap events and try to find our own and tag transactions appropriately but we have not done this yet.
I think this can stay open as a feature request. It definitely makes things a lot better if we can figure it out.
My first thought was "Just Me" would be a filtered version of "Friends", but, thinking about these as two different data sources, and the NWC not having the destination info definitely makes sense. Thanks. Agreed that finding a way to use the "Friends" feed to fill in the missing information on the "Just Me" items where possible would be a really nice touch.
