Unusual CPU Consumption Pattern[DOC]

The primary Android app I use is YouTube Music. I've observed that the WSA consumes 15-20% of CPU and triggers the fans when it's in focus, in the background, or on a different virtual desktop. However, the consumption drops to only 0.5-1% if I minimize the app, which seems quite drastic. Is there a way to bridge the difference/make the app go to sleep when it's not in focus as well?
