[Feature Request] Crossfade on next

Currently when Crossfade is enabled, sending the next command will immediately start playing the next song in the playlist, and not perform the crossfade.

The request is to be able to crossfade into the song instead, assuming all the other crossfade criteria are otherwise met.

I would like crossfade on next and regular crossfade to be separate settings. I'm only interested in having a short crossfade when skipping songs, personally.
