Installer app not shown for spoofed com.android.vending

Describe the bug
The "Installer app" field isn't shown for spoofed com.android.vending.
Though it's probably in the literal installer part of AM, not the app info viewer:
$ su -c pm list packages -i com.bereal.ft
package:com.bereal.ft installer=null
To Reproduce
- Use Aurora Store with the App Manager install method
- Begin installing any app
- In the AM installer popup, select the installer app to be Google Play Store
- Finish installing the app, and click on "App Info"
- The "Installer app" field doesn't show up
- Select YouTube in AM; "Installer app" shows Google Play Store as the "Installer" and the "Actual installer"
Seems that Aurora Store also fails to set the installer:
- Use Aurora Store with the root install method
- Install any app
- Check it in AM
- No "Installer app" field
Expected behavior
It should show up. I expect the "Actual installer" field to show App Manager, but still.

Ok this is super weird. I set the "Installer app" setting to the default (App Manager) and reinstalled, and the info field still won't show up.
It's difficult to assess the issue from this info alone. Can you try installing an app using other methods, e.g., pm command or running App Manager in no-root mode (installer should be set to App Manager in the latter).
This could be a bug similar to how normal Google Play Store may not be the installer app, if using the Custom option. Did you use that?
