.xpi ssl certificate expired

When trying to install this add-on (zotserver-0.1.3.xpi) from Firefox 144.0 I get the following:

"about:add-ons This add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt"

Limited research leads me to (perhaps wrongly) speculate that this is related to an expired ssl certificate. Please advise?
