Nether portals spawn me in several blocks away from the nether portals often causing players to suffocate in walls/blocks.

This needs to be fixed ASAP, I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens to and it is likely killing servers by the day.

I'm using the latest version of Spigot, MV Core and MV Portals.

Which version of MV, and MV NetherPortals are you using? And which version of Minecraft?

I'm using the latest version of all three.

Unfortunately, "latest" is not a version number, please send the output of /mv version -b. Its will be best if you tell us your server version as well.

A good thing to do is to test with only mv plugins installed as well, and if possible, give a steps to reproduce the issue.

Multiverse-Core Version: 4.1.0-b775 Multiverse-NetherPortals Version: 4.1.0-b763

Spigot Version 1.16.2

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Multiverse Core and NetherPortals
  2. Link a world with a nether world
  3. Walk into a nether portal (from the overworld or from the nether)

Result: You are spawned several blocks away from the portal, typically above or below the portal and depending on the blocks around the portal most of the time you will suffocate.

Expected result: You are spawned into the exact correct coordinates.
