System Information

MultiMC version: 0.6.12-develop-1429 Operating System: Linux 64-bit Summary of the issue or suggestion:

I was adding some "lite" packs from CurseForge since I'm playing on a lower end machine, and I noticed that there was no multi-select for packs to install. This would decrease the amount of clicking and searching.

What should happen:

  • Hold shift or control
  • Select starting pack and end pack or select packs
  • Select "Ok"
  • Multiple packs proceed to download

Is this feature supposed to create multiple instances, or create a single modpack with the mods of all them together?

@AverageComet250 I think it is create multiple instances as this description.

In that case I think this is a great idea. It would definitely make installing modpack's much easier.

This could also be added to creating modless versions; you select multiple versions and then create multiple instances, possibly with the same worlds folder or resoucepack folder

BTW, the MultiMC can setting a public or same resourcepack folder for every instances now?

really need a public to put my resourcepacks or shaderpacks AIO folder.

Multimc doesn't support having a public resource pack and world's folder l, but it would be great if it did. And it wouldn't be too hard to implement; just duplicate the public mods folder functionality for these folders.
