This functionality seems to be very nice! The latest Pre-release 0.6.2 for Zotero 7 beta seems to have removed it completely. I also would like to know if the functionality will be back in the future? I would actually prefer to see this functionality in a separate plugin, as I am more interested in that specific functionality rather than the part on references that is probably difficult to get to work properly.
