Crash in world generation [1.12.2]

Hello I'm having a crash while exploring the map. The report mentions something about the generation of volcanoes, but I'm not sure I know what I'm reading. Let me know if I should report it elsewhere.

Volcanoes tend to take a long time to generate because of the way they are implemented. The crash is because the game thinks that it crashed because it's taking so long to generate and then forces a crash. I think it's a Sponge thing. I'll look into making volcanoes generate better.
