Mouse LXTerminal

Open kewp opened this issue 9 years ago • 9 comments

I'm using LXTerminal from LXQt to ssh into my box and run vtop.

The moment I move my mouse over the running vtop session (which otherwise works perfectly) it seems random keyboard presses are sent through somehow ... Suddenly and very quickly. The whole thing eventually crashes when I suppose pressing "u" is somehow simulated ...

Any ideas ?

Hmmm... that is odd. Maybe newer versions of Blessed work better

Wow, blessed looks great.

Let me fiddle with it (on it's own) and see if I get the same issues ...

This happens as well on Arch using the following terminal emulators.

  • Terminator 1.0 Alpha
  • Gnome Terminal 3.18.2
  • xfce4-terminal 0.6.3

A quick video of the problem occurring. Video of Problem Happening

Another note,

I cloned the repo to start working on this issue, and it does not appear to be happening when running node ./bin/vtop. Currently checkout out ref: 55dd8398ffaa69474a106190d81fb564e36fb6c6

I also installed vtop from the local directory with: sudo npm i -g . and vtop behaved correctly. This may not need any changing. Could be different version of blessed?

Okay, a little more research: This is a the same as issue #57 and was fixed in PR https://github.com/MrRio/vtop/pull/58

Problem is for some reason when installed from npm, it does not seem to include this fix. Maybe the package needs a version bump.
