Ah. Of course. Something to keep in mind for Vapor 4 in that case.
How/when would this be beneficial? It’d still have a max and pick a new connection up when needed? Or would you always have `x` amount of connections connected?
But while decreasing latency, would this not also increase the performance hit by keeping alive connections that are not needed? (I guess that'd be a tradeoff an end user would...
I'm not into the whole performance world enough to judge that, so I'll take your word for that. In this case it seems like a good addition, feel free to...
Not sure if I misunderstand, but at that point, what's the point of having a max size at all. Making it fully leaking would mean there is only a `min`,...
@freben I'm just getting started with backstage and ran in to the Safari issue too. I just checked the latest master (f537c232b2469d846466daa666feb7065de207f3) and still get the error. Let me know...
I've created https://github.com/MrLotU/VaporMonitoring based off of SwiftMonitoring and the Kitura parts, but it's working with Vapor (as of posting this, it's still in it's early stages)
I'll get some work in over the weekend. Excited to see what we can do here 😄
Big +1! This would be useful for both `Timer` as well as `Recorder` (Summary and Histogram in Prometheus land)
Maybe instead of using this script as pre-commit hook, connect it to the already existing `sanity.sh`? It includes swift-format & some other things (headers & linux tests)
