No USB Devices Available to store firmware backup

Is there a way to get rid of the option to backup? No matter what I try it always says No USB Devices available to store firmware backup whenever I try and install UEFI with the firmware script.

I have an SD card in the inbuilt reader and not sure if it's getting read or not but it's all I have at the moment. Thanks.

if your SD card reader isn't USB-attached, that could be why. Don't have a USB stick to use?
