Just wanted to say "Thank you" for the great work you have done. It really is a complete set for managing the bootloader on a chromebook. Thanks for creating and maintaining it. It helped me tremendously!!

In my case I have an Asus Flip C302, which is EOL since last year. I love this machine for internet browsing and some android apps (and even a very few Linux apps). But having no OS updates anymore, I though it would be a good idea to try a different OS on it. There are so many Linux distros and also ChromeOS Flex, FydeOS, OpenFyde, etc.

It was really a blaze to install the UEFI bootloader, from which I could test all the distros. Bad luck, none of them worked well. None of them had any audio. The tablet mode switch was not working either. So, the best still seems to be the official (even if EOL) chromeos version. Your scripts helped me perfectly to reflash the original bootloader extracted from a Google recovery image. Now I reinstalled the original image and everything is working again. (I was so happy to see that you included even these options to reflash the original bootloader from the recovery image!)

I too want to express my gratitude for how easy you've made it to convert what would otherwise be e-waste. It took a bit of reading, but the process was clear and the conversion worked out smoothly. When I saw the Coreboot rabbit logo appear on the screen, I had to laugh as I now have a usable PC to do whatever I need with. Thank you!!
