constant crashing

Whenever I power off my chromebook 11 3180, and power it on again, the bios boots up, and crashes a few seconds later. I have to repeatedly turn on my chromebook, let it crash, and turn it on again until it finally doesn't crash around the 5th to 10th time, and sometimes when it turns on, it stops registering any keyboard input.

that sounds like some sort of hardware issue, the 3180 has been long supported and haven't had any reports of similar issues before
