Phaser360 support for nvme m.2 drives on WiFi PCIe port

Open ultrazar opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

I tried to replace the wifi card of my lenovo chromebook 500e 2nd gen (Phaser360) wifi card with an nvme ssd but the system doesn't seem to detect anything on that port. On the chrultrabook discord server some people said that the motherboard is wired for cnvi+pcie but coreboot would need some modifications to make it work for pcie so here's the issue.

The tools I used:

M.2 A/E Key to M.2 M Key converter: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804525108133.html SSD: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804663974268.html

The wifi card that was installed is an Intel Wireless-AC 9560. I can give more info if asked for. Thanks.

you'll probably need to compile your own build of coreboot which disables CNVi on the BT PCIe port
