you've provided no info here that is useful to diagnose the issue

  • what type of media was used? USB? SD?
  • how is the media formatted
  • how are you running the Firmware Util script?
    • crosh shell, logged in as normal user?
    • crosh shell, logged in as a guest?
    • from a VT2/chronos terminal?
  • what is the exact error you received?

I got the same error i want to download windows 10 I use the shell terminal and I use usb stick
