Fan comes on full after resuming from sleep on Lenovo C630 (Pantheon) Kaby Lake

I am using MrChromebox-4.14 coreboot UEFI on a Lenovo C630 (Pantheon) Kaby Lake with kernel 5.14.21 on OpenSUSE Leap 15.3.

Sleep otherwise normally works well, however, when resuming from sleep the fan will often come on full power no matter the system load. The fan then will only return to normal if the system is shut-down and started again.
