Newbie doesn't know what's wrong?

New boss uses Mac and heavily leans on TaskPaper. Downloaded the server package and ran, but get an error on the /localhost/taskpaper URL that it cannot connect. Being a total noob and not a developer, I have not idea where to start to troubleshoot. Info: Windows 10 Opera/Chrome/Firefox - any is fine, though I'm using Opera more these days Surface Pro 1st Gen

I recognize this project is likely dead, but maybe the dev would let someone else take it over for further development?
