Any chance this is going to get merged anytime soon? It's pretty useful.

At least the changes for `lib/omniauth/strategies/ldap.rb` and `spec/omniauth/strategies/ldap_spec.rb` seem very useful.

It seems like GitLab.org development of the fork has moved to https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/omniauth-ldap since.

@funkyvisions proposed IT'S NOT A TUMOR be implemented in another issue. This could be a fitting use of it (or just IT'S NOT varName). I like NOT TO BE equally...

@misel228 , what version of Java are you running? I've received the same error message before, but it started working when I updated to Java version 1.7.xxx, IIRC.
